Suzanne completed her Occupational Therapy studies in 1999.  Since then she has worked from Tasmania to Darwin and a few stops in between (including Yass, where she has lived since 2003).

In 2017 Suzanne started Yass Valley Occupational Therapy, serving children and families in the Yass area.

With over 45 years of lived neurodivergent experience - (self diagnosed and peer reviewed), Suzanne is passionate about life long learning and bringing quality therapy services to rural areas.  Suzanne has loved movement forever with many years pursuing Dance and Yoga and connecting with nature through travel, bushwalking, camping and swimming.

In 2024 Suzanne became a qualified Yoga Teacher.  This has been an exciting adventure combining allied health and the science of doing with the movement and philosophies of Yoga.

Suzanne escapes to the ocean whenever she can, loves to create, and is very proud of herself to have helped her three children survive to almost adulthood.  Suzanne is often found searching for her keys or phone or playing on her small farm or in her vegetable garden.

Whilst continuing to explore different philosophies and approaches in Occupational Therapy, Suzanne  loves working to better understand why we do what we do, and uses a neurodivergent affirming lense to help people engage in occupations (doing) that they want or need to do.

She is particularly passionate about supporting parents and families.

  • Admin Assistant

Liz brings two decades of admin experience to the Yass Valley OT team, and is responsible for keeping all of our behind-the-scenes work running smoothly.

Outside of work, Liz is a mum of two teenagers and two cats. She loves to crochet, hike, and bake (but not all at the same time!) and you may see her at our local parkrun on a Saturday morning. Easily distracted by fur-babies, cake, and sci fi/horror books and films.

If you have any questions about bookings, invoices, reports, or want to know where to find anything at Yass Valley OT, Liz is here to help!
