Our Approach
Celebrate the individual.
At Yass Valley Occupational Therapy, we support people’s health, development and well-being through engagement in meaningful activities. We adopt a neurodivergent-affirming approach, celebrating each person’s unique strengths and optimising supports to help everyone succeed doing the things they want or need to do.
We work with individuals, their families and other support people to create understanding, connection and fun so young people can thrive. We recognise the importance of connections – with self, other people, animals, nature, activities and places.
Through curiosity we aim to better understanding why a person, family, or group might be struggling, provide a space and supports to enable people to build skills as they are able, building capacity through;
